At Salvation Army Homes, our commitment to providing safe homes and transforming lives has reached a new milestone. We are thrilled to announce that we have secured two new support contracts focused on providing supported housing for young individuals aged 16-24 in the Preston area.

These contracts will significantly impact the lives of young people in our community. Through safe and stable housing combined with individualised support services, we aim to build a space where young people feel safe, nurtured, and empowered to build upon their future.

Our Unique Approach

Salvation Army Homes is a leading provider of supported housing, and we have developed a unique approach to meeting the needs of those within our supported housing services.

Our dedicated staff will continue to provide:

• Individualised Support: Each young person will receive a bespoke support package tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Skill Development: We focus on developing independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and paying bills.
• Education and Employment Opportunities: We assist young people in finding educational, training, or employment opportunities to help them build a brighter future.
• 24/7 Support: Our services are staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, ensuring continuous support and guidance.

Our services have seen success in transforming lives by working together with individuals. Our teams are equipped with the expertise and passion to make a real difference to those we support, and we will be applying this to both Preston Foyer and Merriweather.
