We are happy to share that we’ve been nominated at the UK Housing awards under the resident Employment and training award.
This award is for the work in helping residents access funding they may need for school or job training through the Cowan Fund.
Over the years, more than £140,000 has been given out to help people reach their goals.
A big part of this fund comes from our generous benefactor, Andrew Cowan who set the fund up in memory of his mum, based on the idea that small steps can make a big difference.
Andrew says: “This fund helps cover the last mile costs of getting someone into work, closer to their families, or just providing comfort”.
This nomination is about the people who use this fund. Their hard work and achievements show the true impact of what support can help do.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the fund. We look forward to doing even more good in the future.
